Fears UK cabinet ministers may need to isolate after health secretary tests positive
The United Kingdomâs Health secretary has tested positive to COVID-19, prompting fears several cabinet ministers and civil servants may need to self-isolate.
Sajid Javid â" who is three weeks into the job â" has received two COVID vaccines and is reporting mild symptoms.
This comes amid a significant vaccination push ahead of the lifting of COVID restrictions on Monday, July 19.
Despite the looming easing of restrictions, cases are on the rise and many businesses have been impacted by the number of staff who have been forced to isolate after receiving a notification from a test and trace app.
